Rondeau Bay is home to many different aquatic plants, reptiles, and fish. Keep your eye out for endangered species such as Spotted Gar, or maybe even a Blanding’s Turtle!

3. Bountiful camping opportunities

Late-night fires, marshmallows on the end of a stick, and gazing at the stars under a moonlit sky… need we say more?

Rondeau has over 300 centrally-located campsites, many with electricity. The campground is just a short walk away from the park’s beautiful sandy beaches.

Book a site, bring a tent or trailer, and spend a few nights under our beautiful southern skies.

4. Spot Prothonotary Warblers

Rondeau is a world-renowned birding destination.

More than 330 bird species have been recorded in the park, and 134 of these have been recorded breeding.

Rondeau works hard to protect nesting Prothonotary Warblers, which are found in only a few places in Canada. Our Discovery team works closely with Bird Studies Canada to help monitor this endangered species.
