We chatted with the Federation of Ontario Bed & Breakfast Accommodation to uncover nine of the best B&B/provincial park combos across Ontario.
1. Sleepy Hollow Bed & Breakfast (Gananoque)
30 minutes from Charleston Lake Provincial Park
The B&B: A 1905 Victorian mansion, Sleepy Hollow is an Ontario Designated Heritage building. Revel in the ambiance of a bygone era, or head out on a walking tour of Gananoque. The B&B is happy to recommend the best restaurants, pizza joints, and pubs.
The park: Charleston Lake offers many opportunities for paddle sport enthusiasts, and the park is widely known as an excellent fishing destination. Hikers love the rocky lake and forest landscape that is an extension of the Canadian Shield.
2. Nap-n-Nosh Bed & Breakfast (Bloomfield)
15 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park
The B&B: Nap-n-Nosh is known for its gourmet breakfasts and landscaped grounds (complete with gazebos and pond). It’s located in the centre of 50+ wineries and breweries, numerous museums, fine dining, and the largest concentration of artists in Ontario.
An Ontario Parks day-pass is available for guests to sign out on a first-come basis.
The park: Sandbanks is home to the world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation, and boasts three expansive sandy beaches that some say are among the best in Canada.
Nap-n-Nosh B&B is also only 30 minutes from North Beach Provincial Park, and only 45 minutes from Presqu’ile Provincial Park.
3. Muskoka Dream Catcher Bed & Breakfast (Huntsville)
10 minutes from Arrowhead Provincial Park
The B&B: Muskoka Dream Catcher is located steps from the shops and restaurants of downtown Huntsville. Relax in the soaker tub and indulge in a selection of homemade goodies.
The park: Arrowhead‘s 13 km of trails circle ancient bluffs and spring-fed lakes. Enjoy an afternoon on the park’s sandy beaches, or try some trout fishing from a stocked lake.
Muskoka Dream Catcher B&B is also only 40 minutes from Algonquin Provincial Park.
4. Montrose Inn Boutique Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room (Belleville)
30 minutes from Presqu’ile Provincial Park
The B&B: Montrose Inn has a great freshly-prepared hot breakfast every day (and are happy to provide gluten-free or vegetarian options). Additionally, the Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club is less than 1 km from the Inn, and hosts a fabulous restaurant. All guestrooms have a view of the Bay of Quinte.
The park: Presqu’ile is a migration hotspot that birders will love. Explore 16 km of trails along shorelines and through woodlands and meadows. As an overnight guest at the Inn, you can order a hearty picnic lunch to eat on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Montrose Inn is also only 45 minutes from Ferris, North Beach and Sandbanks Provincial Parks.
5. Eldorado Beach on Lake Superior Bed & Breakfast (Thunder Bay)
40 minutes from Sleeping Giant Provincial Park
The B&B: Eldorado Beach on Lake Superior is a comfortable B&B situated just from the shore. Relax in a whirlpool on the outdoor deck overlooking Lake Superior, or doze by the fire in the guest lounge.

Eldorado Beach on Lake Superior is also only 30 minutes from Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park, and only 1 hour from Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park.
6. Between the Maples Bed & Breakfast (Owen Sound)
Less than 1 hour from MacGregor Point Provincial Park
The B&B: A century home with today’s comforts, Between the Maples affords guests a view of Georgian Bay. Stroll along the Marina and the harbourfront to Owen Sound’s downtown dining, museum and shopping.
